Too often I hear of people removing pasta from their daily nutrition, in a completely wrong belief that pasta is enemy for weight-loss.
Pasta is extremely easy to digest, source of complex carbs, with a good protein component and, if you opt for whole pasta, also rich in vitamins and minerals.
Today I made myself an “old but gold” combination for my lunch: pasta & legumes, a perfect match.
Had no time to cook, so I used canned chickpeas.
Added some turmeric, cherry tomatoes, oregano, kalamata olives and extra virgin olive oil.
Result is simple, yummy and complete and, despite what many think, super healthy.
